What is the capsule system? What makes it superior?

Being scientifically proven to make the perfect espresso, coffee capsules have revolutionized the way the world drinks coffee. The moment ground coffee comes in contact with air, it starts to lose its flavor, aromas and its oils tend to get diluted. To ensure capturing of the coffee in its true form, along with its thousand aromas and oils, the grounds are hermetically sealed in capsules under vacuum conditions. The ideal espresso does have a recipe defined and this is it! 
Each Nettare capsule is specifically designed for our machines to ensure that the optimum flow of pressurized water through the capsule brings out each of the 1000 aromas of the coffee. Each Nettare capsules comes fitted with a custom made patented filter with triple layer filtration which ensures optimum extraction ensuring the same delight cup after cup.

After the coffee is extracted, the capsule is pushed down into the collection chamber, which can be emptied out when needed. This used capsule will be pierced from both ends. This is completely normal.

The collection chamber has a maximum capacity of 7 capsules. After this, the chamber will need to be emptied, else the locking mechanism will get stuck.

We source our Arabica coffee from the following places:
1. Brazil –A fine cup of Brazilian is clear, sweet, medium-bodied, and low-acid.
2. Colombia- Colombian Supremo, the highest grade, has a delicate, aromatic sweetness while Excelso Grade is softer and slightly more acidic.
3. Guatemala- This medium-to-full bodied coffee has a depth and complexity of taste that is almost spicy or chocolaty.
4. Costa Rica- Costa Rica produces only wet-processed Arabica. With its medium body and sharp acidity, it’s often described as having perfect balance.
5. Puerto Rico- Coffees from here are noted for their beans’ balanced body and acidity, as well as a fruity aroma.
6. Ethiopia- In the cup, an Ethiopian coffee tends to offer a remarkable and bold statement: full flavored, a bit down-to-earth and full bodied.

No you cannot get drip coffee. But you can make yourself a very long espresso commonly known as an Americano (equivalent to a large cup). Even with this much coffee, we guarantee a rich crema and a premium coffee taste. So why would you want drip coffee?

The use of coffee capsules and extracting machines not only help speed up the process and make it method the most efficient, but also has many other benefits associated with it. This system is such that it’s elegance lies in its simplicity.

It is scientifically proven to be the best way to conjure the ideal espresso. The whole system behind this is to have hot water(heated to an exact temperature depending on the coarseness of the coffee ground) rushed through very tightly packed coffee ground under extremely high pressure conditions. This high pressured water is forced to percolate through the tightly packed coffee and extract the essential oils out of it. This creates the bronze colored rich froth called a crema that crowns the espresso and gives it its distinct aromas and body.

This is what makes the capsule system so efficient. It enables water to be heated using a very powerful German built thermostat to the optimum temperatures. Then be rushed through the coffee under very high pressures which are induced by the 19 bar Italian designed pressure pump, having the ideal pressure for a smooth rich cr and unparalleled consistency. To be rushed through coffee of varied coarseness hermetically sealed with no spaces left in a capsule under vacuum conditions. And finally to undergo a triple filtration process and be served.

The combination of the extraction with the Nettare capsule ensures that the coffee is perfectly balanced with all the individual flavors intact. All in the matter of a few seconds.

The left button gives you a shot of espresso measuring around 30 ML. This is a highly concentrated and strong shot. The right button gives you a 60 ml shot of Lungo (long espresso).

Water goes in the jug behind the machine. The Jug has a minimum capacity of 75 ml and a maximum of 1 litre. A short pour/espresso uses 30ml and a Long pour/Lungo uses 60 ml.

After every 5-7 cups made or at the end of the day, run water through the system, without inserting the capsule ( by pressing the right, lungo button). This cleans the internal system. Externally, you may wipe it with dry tissues.

The button should turn red. Wait for about 45 seconds till it completes and automatically turns off. Then pour it on your espresso shot.
